I've ordered a Remington 700P in .223. It is primarily going to be used as a 100 yard paper puncher now but I want a scope that will allow me to get into some long distance competition if I choose to later down the road.
What kind of magnification should I buy? Will I be able to see .22 calibre holes at 100 yards with 10X? I do not want to buy a spotting scope just yet.
