Magnified red dot or low power scope

I thought I was set on a red dot for my 7615P but after shooting an EOTech at 100 yards I want something with a bit of magnification.

Any recommendations? It will be used from 25-300 yards on mainly paper but possibly coyotes as well. Hoping to spend around $100 up to $200 max

Any input on the truglo tactical 4x32 (mildot). Seems like a not bad option and the price is a bonus too.

I think OEM magnifiers from EOtech or Aimpoint will run much higher than $200. REgarding red dot vs low power scope, the consensus at least for three gun seems to be low power variable. Scopes are a lot heavier though, so, if this is a gun you're carrying all day, and never shoot at anything beyond 100y, well, a red dot might be just fine.

Burris ar332 is higher price but nice. Better to save and spend more on nice optics.

I'm not too worried about weight, it will still be lighter than my M14. It will be mainly a range gun so not worried about size and weight. I think I've narrowed it down to the Bushnell banner 1.5-4.5 or the truglo fixed 4x. I did a close in shooting clinic with the elcan 4x and had no issues with the zoom at close distances.

Beautiful red dot and I understand spending a bit more to get something nicer but that's 5x what I want to spend. If I do get something nicer I can always use the cheaper one on a different gun.

I just grabbed a truglo fixed 4x mildot off eBay for $70. Going to give it a shot and if I don't like it it'll wind up on a .22

Spend the extra $50 and get a Mueller Speedshot 1-4. Great optic for the $

Depends what you want to do. I have both a 1x4 and aimpoints. For 3 gun I much prefer the red dot. For just messing around at the range I prefer the 1x4. I am going to pick up a 3 time vortex magnifier(est @ $275 for mount and magnifier) and can run the T1 or throw the 3x on. Having the light T1 vs a heavy 1x4 makes a big difference.
