Here's the standard answer and observation plasma. You don't use magnum primers just because the cartridge is named "magnum". You use'em if you're loading with slow-burning ball powder like H110. Otherwise, don't need'em.
What's more, some would argue that even then you'd get fine results using regular primers, that in the end, it really doesn't make much of a difference.
Yup, I've burned lots of H110 and never used magnum primers with it.
Also, burned lots of H4831, sometimes in winter weather, never used magnum primers.
But here I go repeating myself, again, again, again----
"...Will these rounds be safe?..." Yep, but you'll have to work up the load again.
You don't need magnum primers just because you're loading a magnum cartridge. One has nothing to do with the other.
