Magnum vs non magnum primers

I've been wanting to try CCI small pistol primers in my 9mm for a while now and finally found a place that had them in stock. Unfortunately I didn't notice he handed me the magnums until I drove home.
Do I need to reduce my loads? Having trouble finding data for this.
My load so far has been Federal SP primer, 4.7grains Bullseye, and 124 grain LRN
 
Just drop your powder charge a grain or two and you should be good to go. The magnum primers give a little more pop but it is not earth shaking. Load a few with different charges [starting light] and work up to what feels and sounds good. Unless you have a chrony and you want to be precise. Fire one of your loads and then a factory load. You will be able to hear if yours are too hot.
 
I have used magnum primers many times. As stated above just start with a lower charge and work up to what you are going to use. Just be careful if you work the load up in cold weather and then use it on a real hot day it might be to much then.
