I was shopping around for a .22 WMR rifle. I first asked my local gun store broker if he could order me a Ruger 10/22 Magnum. I came in a few days later and was told, Nope Sorry no longer being made. So he said take a look at this and pulled a Remmington 597 VTR from the shelf. I was impressed with the rifle, it has a heavy barrel, its free floating and comes with a 30 round magazine. Now what I want to know is, are there any other rifles that fit the bill of a tactical type rifle in the .22 WMR caliber, that also takes HIGH CAP magazines?
aside from the already mentioned Ruger 10/22?
