Why are the PMAG 10’s pinned?

Semi autos are only allowed 5 rounds.
Unless the magazine was designed for a pistol, in which case it may hold 10 rounds.

Grey area loop holes allow other magazines that are designed for a pistol/other firearms, yet fit other rifles to allow for their intended tolerances to be kept - in which if designed for a higher caliber, but fits more rounds of the non-intended rifles caliber, it’s okay.

They fit in a Magpul 700 hunter stock...bolt action rifle....they sell them unpinned at every gun store in Canada.....

No those are the magpul AICS pattern mags. These are the ar10 sr25 style mags for semi autos. They will not fit the hunter stock

What the magazine is designed for and stamped for is what determines the capacity, not what it can fit in.
