Magpul 700 hunter bottom metal

Just curious has anyone tried to fit a magpul bottom metal into a 700 sps stock? I know it will take some dremmel work just wondering what it would look like.

Does not work well with the Factory Hogue Stock on the SPS Tactical, not sure on the regular SPS Stock.

The Magpul bottom plastic is going to require quite a bit of inletting.

I have fit it into a boyds prairie hunter stock. It went ok. But you have to take it slow and test fit a bunch. Dont rush it! Dont know how it would go in a sps stock.

Edit: one think you may need to be aware of is the trigger guard is a little different shape. So it can get tight on the trigger pull depending how things fit together.

I did it on my 700 Tactical with the houge stock, it went well. Just have to take it slow and be patient...fit, trim, fit, trim and eventually it slides right in. The space between the trigger and the trigger guard is close but with the Xmark trigger the play is next to none so it doesn't touch.
