Like title states, wondering if the magpul aics mags work in the krg chassis. Will be picking one up for my 700 barreled action on Saturday..
I hear there are issues with the tikkas in the bravo where the pmags don’t work right. Looking for input.
Thank you

No go for me with my T3 in a Bravo stock. You could make it work by filing down the mag catch slightly or alter the mag but who wants to do that. The AICS mags are nice enough anyways so for me it’s not the end of the world.

Yeah I have an mdt on order but was hoping to have one to shoot with for the weekend..can only find the magpul locally

Don’t buy ONE! :eek:

Buy TWO of them... actually I have 3 of the Bravo rigs. 2 of them are Remmy 700’s and the 3rd is a CZ457.

Yeah, Magpul magazines 5 round AICS work well in my .308 / .260 switch barrel 700 (varmint barrels). Not a single hang up with:

* Accurate Mags, both .223 and .308 families
* Magpul mags both 5 and 10 round .308 magazines
* Accuracy International AICS magazines , 5 rounder
* MDT Tac 12 rounder .308 family

So yeah, I am pleased with the different brands of magazines running through my 2 x Remmy 700 rigs in KRG Bravo setups....

Hope this helps! Next week I can let you know how the KRG Bravo and my CZ457 Synthetic are getting along. It’s All Good!

Peace Be To Journey!

Cheers, Barney

Magpul mags work perfectly for me in my 700/Bravo, and were also great in my Magpul Hunter and MDT LSS stocks on the same platform.

I even use them in my Steyr SSG69 with Styria bottom metal. That unit is recommended for use with MDT mags...which are lovely...but the Magpuls are just a wee bit tighter and don't drop free or make any clicking noises when struck or knocked. Much quieter and nicer for hunting.

The issue with the Magpul mag is the Tikka action and not the stock or magazine. The magazine’s feed lips are making contact with the bottom of the T3 action. If they were narrower like the AICS mags it wouldn’t be an issue. I had a T3 in a Manners stock and had the same issue.
