Looking to getting parts together for a build on my Win M70. I found a company that has a bottom metal that will allow the use of AICS mags on the M70, but had a few questions.
I am looking to build in 6.5x55, so will need to use the magpul "standard" (30-06 sized) AICS mags. Question is, are external dimensions on the magpul standard mags the same as there "magnum" maghs and will these work in a bottom metal for "magnum" AICS mags? AI does not seem to make a Standard size mags so I am thinking magpul made these externally similar to work in AICS chassis on rifles chambered in the "standard" size calibers.
