I mounted up the Bad lever on my AR using the 1 bolt supplied and I cant seem to get it tight enough without it still rotating side to side around the bolt. I am worried if I tighten it any more I am going to strip the aluminum mounting bracket. I am not sure if a 1 bolt design is such a good idea. Does anyone have a better option on how to get it not to rotate or has anyone found a better product?

Thanks for the tip. I never thought of using Loctite as a contact surface "glue". Do you suggest red, blue or green as I wonder how much rotational force I actually put on the lever?

Blue will do as red is very difficult to remove on such a small bolt head. Most times the torx hole is stripped when a more permanent loctite is used.

Some brands bolt catches are inherently lose due to out of mil-spec sizing.

I have one of those phase 5 levers ...I didn't like mine as I had to file down the existing lever on my NEA to get it to fit. I believe this was due to the NEA upper being shaped a bit different.
As well it kept coming loose even with locktite so its in the parts bin.
Phase 5 makes another one that doesn't bolt onto the existing lever as its a one piece design (much better) and it replaces the existing lever.

Thanks for the tip. I will knock the Phase 5 Tactical Extended Bolt Release V1 off my list of things to try instead of the Bad lever. Is it difficult to install?
