hey I'm not sure if this is the right section for this post but just wanted to let you guys know that magpul ctr/moe buttstocks fit onto tapco sks stock buffer tubes perfectly. it seems the tapco stock kit has a milspec buffer tube and milspec buttstock. gives you some more upgrade options for your sks if you have a tapco stock kit. The magpul buttstocks are a lot more comfortable compared to the tapco buttstocks too. I'm not sure if the moe grips are compatible yet though.

Its great that it fits on your SKS stock, but I wouldn't bet on it working with all of them. My commercial spec CTR barely fits on the tube of my SKS, and its very hard to move. Not a problem since the CTR was for my SU-16, but I wanted to give it a try on the Tapco. I'm pretty sure that commercial stocks are larger as well, so this shows how out of spec the plastic tube can be considering you can fit a mil spec on yours.
 
Mine looks exactly like yours Craig0ry. I've had mine for a number of years too, so maybe the new ones do come with a different tube. Garybusey, what is the tube on your stock made of?
