did a search but there was no talk here, if you already seen these from that 'other' board please forgive:) I got excited

Stolen off that other forum....as posted by Rich at MagPUl

I posted this in reply to some threads but thought it was worthy of it's own. As stated before the M93 is being discontinued in favor of two new stocks (here is a sneek peek).

CTR – Compact/ Type Restricted Stock–
Basic stock used for compact applications such as shorty/PDW weapons and rifles for units that restrict removal of the buffer tube. This stock features a unique locking mech that friction locks the stock to the buffer tube for zero movement but can be released just as easily as unlatching a normal CAR type stock. The CTR includes improved cheekweld area, integrated QD sling mount and rubber butt pad.

Molds are open for the CTR and first runs from the mold should be ready by Mid-January and we will have quantity in stock by Shot Show.

Retail Price will be around $95 without buffer tube. Here are some pics of the prototype.

Here is a shot video of the CTR lock mech working...

UBR – Universal Battle Rifle Stock –
A robust multi position stock that can be used as a heavy duty collapsible field stock and a limited use precision stock. Designed to be adapted to other platforms other than the M16/M4/AR15 series.

This stock is designed to be the M93 replacement. The design for the mechanism is complete and we starting on the styling of the body unit right now. No pictures yet as everything is still fluid.

This stock will have a simple, mechanical recoil management system (primarly used for shotgun or 308 units).

We should have a limited number of working prototypes ready for the Shot Show and production should be around end of April.

Does this meen it's for the AR or not? different versions?

CTR seems to be an affordable upgrade compared to the $250+ lmt sopmod, and they're making 2 versions for mil spec and non tubes.
