Bought a couple of magpul glock mags and even with a full mag they barely drop. I have zero issue with stock mags. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also does anyone make weighted baseplates for the magpul g17 mags?
Thanks.

I bought a Magpul mag for my Glock 19 that does the same thing. I'm probably going to take a dremel or some sandpaper to it soon to try and thin it out in the spots that it's getting hung up on.

File/dremel down the back of the rivet, the mags do in fact drop free, unfortunately with our stupid laws we have to deal with extra bits hanging out of our magazines.

This thread should be titled "My riveted limited-capacity magazines aren't drop-free". Please check the clearances and then get back to us.

yeah my magpul mags (full capacity unpinned 17 rounders) drop free from my glock 26 in usa. Without a round, they are slower dropping than the glock oem magazines. Now with a round in it, drops out real quick.

Its probably the rivet hanging up on the frame.

The only after market glock mags I will use are from ELITE TACTICAL SYSTEMS (ETS) or use OEM mags.

ets are #### mags compared to magpul fyi. Especially when loaded to normal capacity. I've got thousands of rounds on my 17 rounder pmags no issues whatsoever.

Don't take a dremel to a bloody rivet, it's soft metal and you'll burn through the damn thing in a snap.

I had the same issues with 2 g19 mags, 2-3 passes with a file and they work like a charm.

Well.. I've had only good luck and praise for magpul.. but I've only ever bought genuine glock mags for my glock. I agree with the masses it's probably the rivet.
Magpul furniture and accessories.. yes. Glock mags? Just buy glock mags.
