I have two Ruger mags for my ppc but was looking at the Magpul Glock mags which are half the price of Ruger and factory Glock mags. However after the dismal failures I had trying plastic lip ones for 10-22 I am hesitant of using them in ppc.
Anyone having success with the Magpuls?

I bought 5 when I picked up my Ruger pcc bout 6 months ago. Probably have around 2k rounds through the set now and no problems at all. I do see them likely wearing over time, as magazines do, but for the price they seem to be worth it.

I doubt I would be shooting as many rounds through the ppc as I have through my 10-22’s but those hot lips and whatever else the others I tried wore out pretty quick.
Well I guess I’ll give them a try thanks all.

Big difference between cheap polycarbonate and Zytel as far as wear. I noticed wear on the Hot Lips mags I owned but I was never worried about them wearing out. They sucked right from new anyway...

The difference is the Glock mags have steel inserts.

My Magpul Glock mags function BETTER in my PCCs, specifically in my PC Carbine and FX9. My last round bolt hold open on both guns seem to not be as reliable using OEM Glock mags (17 G5 and 17 G4) as opposed to the Magpul GL9/GL7, etc.

If given a choice in the matter, I would and have traded my OEM glock mags for Magpuls of the same capacity (native 10 or pinned to 10) for my PCCs. Now, I don't own any handguns so no idea how they would function, but with PCCs (price aside), my preference are Magpuls Glock mags.
