I installed the Magpul Hunter Stock, with a 20" heavy barrel.
Has anyone used the insert that goes into the front of the stock to support your barrel?
If so, did you work with different torque settings on it, along with the takedown bolt to get the groupings tighter?
I tried backing off the insert so it didn't have any pressure on the barrel, and it seemed that the barrel and action were moving a lot, even when I had the takedown bolt torqued to about 15 in/#, where my gun had been shooting nice groups with the stock stock.
