Magpul Hunter X-22 or ???

Hey guys, got a "extra" 10/22 action laying around... so figure I might just has well build it into something useful

Looking at either a Magpul Hunter X-22

Or a Fab Defense folder

Anyone has firsthand experience with either?

I own the Magpul X-22 stock. I like the ergonomics and feel but I was planning on bedding it until I found out Magpul's stock material doesn't accept bedding well. If I could do it again I would have gotten something from Boyds.

I've got hunter and backpacker on my takedowns. I'm happy with both. For a solid one piece they'd be alright but like Rodder said, there are better, like Boyd's. I have a 308 in a Boyd stock and it's fantastic. Not quite as tactical but the thumb hole laminate one I have is pretty damn sweet.

I wonder what the chances are of MDT producing another run?.
Companies usually like to sell products, if their is a demand for them.

Wonder why they dropped it in the first place? They went to the trouble of designing/adapt the inletting...

Victor company titan is nicer than the magpul hunter. I have both. The magpul is lighter and therefor better for a lightweight build but that’s about it

How about the PMACA chassis system? You can get it through Az Tech Armory and you can make a lightweight build with it too. I am getting a 10/22 through a trade and will be buying this chassis to make such a lightweight build.
