I like the look of it but would like to handle one soemtime.

In particular I am wondering how stiff the forearm is and how well it is suited for a bedding job, especially if one was to add a rear tang to their action and put a pillar on the mounting bolt.

There is a great thread at Rimfire Central and some people have modified them.

Yup, it's a 10/22 SGA stock with a vented forearm. Don't get me wrong, I have the Magpul edition 870 so I don't dislike the SGA, but I see nothing new or innovative about this stock, it just looks like a Magpul "me too" accessory.
