Except the RCMP will shoot these down fast.
1. Needs to be made for a pistol commonly available in Canada to have 10 rounds. See, SOR/98-462
2. Even if it weren't an AK nothing is stopping them from calling it "Commercial version" like current evo's are.
They backtracked a bit the other day, Mags up to and including 50 rounds are good now.
Surprisingly many actually. I see them from time to time at the range. I thought there was like 2 or 3 in the whole country, but some people do like them, and it's quite easy to get parts to build them.
Not interested in akv mags pinned to 5 rounds. Or scorpion mags pinned to 5. Or any mag pinned to 5. Mags pinned to 10 is already annoying enough.
The manufacturer advertises the AK mags as being made for the AK 9mm pistol and the CZ Evo Pistol. It seems to me the Evo pistol is common in Canada so..... I am not a Lawyer and nobody pays me for my opinion so take what I wrote as you wish.

I would love to have 10 round mags for my EVO, however The CZ Scorpion EVO S1 FRT entry states that
- the cartridge magazines for all of the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 "family of firearms" are automatic firearm cartridge magazines and subject to a magazine capacity
restriction of five (5) 9MM LUGER cartridges.
- all cartridge magazines for the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 "family of firearms" meet the Criminal Code definition of a "prohibited device" if they contain more than five (5)
9MM LUGER cartridges.
So if the manufacturer states they are made for CZ EVO pistols I think we are SOL, regardless if there are/are not AK 9mm pistols in Canada.

It might be worth noting the RCMP reduced the Smith &Wesson .22lr rifle to 10 rounds based upon their assertion the pistol variant was widely available in Canada when in fact there was/is little evidence it was ever imported into this country in any numbers, if at all. With this in mind I suspect they would have difficulty in arguing that virtually any pistol made is not readily available to the Canadian publlc. Just saying, and remember I am no lawyer.
