Magpul iPhone Cases

Hey guys,

I know the last thread got deleted, but I was wondering if you had a sitrep on the status of these?

I've seen the post on Magpul's website, and have been watching the expected delivery date on Midway continue to be pushed later and later.

Any info would be great!!
 
From what I've been reading, they were having quality issues with the cases and decided to fix it before releasing it. So far, I think it's mid June.
 
ya the last time i asked ( 2 weeks ago ) it was still a ways out.. Ill let everyone know when I finally hear a good word!
 
There are more than a few pissed off potential magpul customers right now, I'll tell you that.

I know guys that opted for an iPhone over a berry/etc. simply BECAUSE these things were going to be available "in a couple of weeks"

Pretty ####ty way to treat your customer base IMO

Really? Who in the world would buy a phone because of a case?!. That would be about as brilliant as buying a handgun to go with a holster.... or a car to go with a set of tyres.
 
i was tracking their release since february on MidwayUSA. On or around June timeframe...they stopped updating their "order expected in stock" date and threw out a bold push-back date to 15 Oct.

Well...after waiting those few months..I check today and the new date is now pushed back to 30 Oct...

My iphone 3 is nearly dead and im on about 5 different waiting lists for the iphone 4...looks like all that holding out was for nothing...
 
Ya the thing im waiting for is them to say we are dropping the 3g one and making it for the 4.0. I get no real answer when I call. Lets hope something comes soon. I cant use it anyways I have a 4.0

Hey I bought a CD player becuase I had CD's and a DVD player becuase I had DVD's and I HAVE bought a gun becuase I had the holster...

I bought a car becuase the stereo that fit good with it... Mind you I also had the engine that I was putting it in.. (gawd I've gotten old!)
 
Unlike some others that were being sold in the EE (as the real deal for upwards of $80...), these are genuine Magpul and the difference in quality is night and day.

What is the point releasing these now? All the hardcore iphone users will have iphone 4s before these are even available. I just got mine so unless an iphone 4 version is coming out I'm one less competing customer. This is about the worst launch of any product I've seen.

Actually they were free after the seller found out they were not genuine he refunded the full cost to purchaser and we got to keep em and even though they are fakes I liked it better than the bulky roots one I had before it.
