Magpul MOE Forend and 870 Super Mag Compatibility

So I was fixing to purchase Magpul furniture for my 870 Express Super Mag, and I just noticed this note in the description:

Note: This model fits standard Remington 870 shotguns. It is NOT compatible with the Remington 870 Super Mag.

So, I wondering if anyone can tell me why it's not compatible and/or if there is a workaround for this.

The forend rubs on the receiver and larger chamber. You need to shave some material off the forend where you notice contact being made.
