I see MAGPUL has a new offering for 10/22 ,the MOE X-22. Basically it's the stock they OEM'd for the T/CR-22.
At half the price of the X-22 Hunter st should be ~$100 up here. Gravel has listings up but according to dealer no stock yet.
I know I am excited for one and have a barreled action sitting here that will go in one.

That stock looks absolutely identical. If it's the very same stock, expect some flex. The good news is, it's ridiculously comfortable to hold and shoot offhand. The T/CR22 is a wonderfully light, comfortable rifle.

I think it is the same with the addition of reversible barrel tray to accommodate both pencil and bull profile barrels.
Maybe that alone will help with the forend flex.

Isn't the whole point of the cutout/profile of the stock to accommodate the fore-end of the takedown barrel? Kinda just looks weird on a non-takedown gun...?

Well I got one, must be one of the first in Canada :p
Crappy pic in the rain but I likey.

Weighs just 4.1lbs unloaded as you see it with F/O front and Creations by Cay GRS setup.

I remember when magpul first came out with their ergonomic rem 870 stock..... as soon as I saw how different it looked I was sure it would feel great.

It's interesting to me that the looks are still triggering people after so many years.... thankfully we still have freedom of choice when it comes to stock in this country.

Nah, it's just a release of the stock they OEM'd for the now discontinued Thompson Center T/CR-22 (bottom)

Saw this thread, agreed that it was fugly, but the price was right and it was in stock locally so why the hell not? Turns out its a worthy improvement over the OEM plastic stock and I didn't pay half the value of the Ruger for it.

I’ve never been a big fan of most of the Magpul stocks (870 especially) to be honest, this is based purely on looks as I’ve never shot anything with one of their stock set on. Lots of people seem to love them so I’ll reserve final judgment for when I get to try them, I generally like Magpul accessories though, anything I’ve bought has been solid.
