Your terms are entirely self-serving and come across in conversations as 'take it or leave it.' I'm old fashioned but "we don't do that..." talk isn't a great measure of service. I've already said I still buy items in stock but I won't take a song and dance about policy terms or warnings not to bother asking about timelines. Who the hell should? If said item is in, then I have no problem ordering.
