magpul ranger plates on LAR-15 mags

do you lose one round if you put magpul ranger plates on LAR-15 mags?

Yes. You can trim the follower though to allow 10 but be very careful how much you trim - research twice, trim once

Correct. Keep in mind too that if you ever switch back to the standard plate.......well you know the rest

I didn't lose a round but they wouldn't drop free.

Then again they are gen1 mags which arn't made anymore.
