Which synthetic stock do you guys prefer for your 10/22 builds with a .920 barrel? Which one offers the most stability and strength and improvement in either ergonomics and accuracy? I'm leaning towards the Hogue, but would love to hear what you guys think!

Hogue is nice but the forend has some flex to it so it touches the barrel. Ive heard of guys epoxying rods into it for stifness.
I sold mine and shaped a wood stock.

Edit- forgot i had a choate pistol grip stock and the action and barrel would flex in the stock. Looked cool but sold it and kept the handguard.

Axiom looks nice but is cheap feeling and plasticy. Makes me think of a toy. The Hogues are nice, very high quality and very grippy but kind of boring. I ended up going with the ProMag Deluxe Target stock and it's pretty nice. Haven't tried the Magpul one. Probably won't.

I can only comment on the axiom. Its the lightest of the bunch. Has the milspec stock. You can buy a check riser if needed. Sure it flexs abit. I havent seen any plastic stock that doesnt flex. So stick to wood if your not wanting a toy feel or youre a plasticfob.

what about the Promag Archangel 10/22 Deluxe Target Stock ?

Yup, promag has some amazing products. How do you guys like them? Has anyone heard about the new Archangel stock for the 10/22 that was alleged to have been in the works?

I also forgot to mention Choate stocks. I've seen a couple in the EE lately, whats your take on those?
