Mags for HK G36

Does anyone know where/how to get mags for an HK G36?

Other than the odd time they show up in the EE section, I have not seen any for sale in Canada. I've seen them in the US, but the export and capacity rules make that impossible. You could get them from SL-8.de, but they are VERY $$ and still would need to be pinned to 5. And even if pinned you still may not get them passed Canada customs.

I ordered a bunch of used mags from germany via ebay, got the seller to ship the parts seperately. A bit pricy, but no more than the few I've seen for sale in the EE.

You forgot to mention they were 5 round mags.
Would not want anyone to think you did anything 'gray'

He had them shipped as parts. They aren't 5-round or 30-round anything, they're parts, nothing grey about it.

If he puts them together, then of course they need to be limited.

Best way is to put a stick inside the mag body (painted black), and then glue the baseplate on. Putting a rivet or other pin through the spine can make an awful mess - the plastic doesn't like to be cut or drilled.
