main spring replacement

Hello all. I'm trying to source a flat main spring for an old ranger single shot 12ga. Any idea or small gun shop local to someone that might have one could you please post contacts.

Or if anyone knows the proper hardness of metal needed and could make me one I could send you the broken one. Should be simple for anyone with talent and metal working ability of which I don't possess
