Maitland River

A question for those in Southern Ontario:

Can I go after ducks on the Maitland river? After reading a bit online and Delta on the can I have started pulling out all my duck gear and gotta know if I can hunt on it. Thanks

Hullett Marsh in Clinton Ontario. They have a web site. Been there a couple times, and it is a great place for waterfowl. Been on the river fishing before, not sure about hunting though.

Of course you can.....I have gone Float Shooting via a canoe down the Maitland many times!

I'm not sure about Hullet, I do not have a retriever yet and don't know howell it will work out if i'm kicking out in my belly boat with others around. Or is there enough room that you do not see one another? Does it get busy there?

Opening Day at Hullett is like the first day of the Tet Offensive.

There are 2 separate Zones at Hullett.

Zone A, you may only hunt Waterfowl from the designated stakes.

Zone B, you may set up anywhere you want to hunt Waterfowl

Best part of Hullett is the uncontrolled range on Front Rd.

Used to drive from London just to not have to deal with the range nannies.
