What would be the easiest way to make the grips on my 220 wider? A better solution than using hockey tape...
I have big hands and long fingers, so my fingers wrap right around the grip with the my shooting hand, and I just can't get a consistent grip with my support hand because there's nowhere to put it, other than on top of my other fingers...but that's not stable. In other words, I can't get my support-hand palm anywhere near the grip, because my shooting-hand finger tips wrap almost all the way around to touch my palm.
In all the "how to grip a gun videos" you see on youtube...they're always on about getting your support palm onto the open space on the grip. I can't do that, and my support hand just rolls around on top of my fingers.
They're wood grips on right now...black wood. I thought maybe I could just put wood spacers in between the existing grips and use slightly longer screws...but it ain't that easy.
My 226 has slightly wider grips (they could be a lot more), and the grip and shooting control is far better.
Any ideas?
