I was in a store today and noticed a Uberti Old finish on a revolver right next to a real 2nd generation Colt and they almost matched exactly. Anyone ever tried to make there revolver look old? I was thinking of sand blasting it and adding a bit of bluing hear and there in the places that the bluing wouldn't get worn off, marking the grips up a bit with a few dings and cuts, then sealing the finish with armacoat clear or something like that. Any idea's?

If the finish you are talaking about is color-case hardened you will not be able to match it with blueing. The finish is created by packing the parts in a mixture of bone and charcoal, heating to 1400 degrees, then quenching in water. The process is difficult because the high temperature may result in the parts warping.
Old guns were never sanbblasted so I don't think that would make your revolver look old: it would make it look horrible! Older guns get worn, and they develop a patina with age especially when used a lot. So, just use your gun a lot! You could try chemical ageing of the metal surfaces also... Maybe burnishing the wood...

I have sand / bead blasted gun and you get a nice
flat silver look that will rust in about one minute if it is damp out.
