Making 40 S&W bullets from 9mm cases

I bought a mixed bag of reloading supplies from a fellow that had picked it up at an estate sale. In it were 6mm bullets made from 22 rimfire brass. Some of them didn't look really uniform, so I junked those and used the rest. Unfortunately the swaging dies were not in the mixed bag.

That BTsniper guy is something else. the originator of this process over on the castboolits forum. I have followed all his posts, quite amazing some of his creations, I defiantly like the .308 projectiles he makes with FN 5.7x28 cases. Apparently u can also use the blank cases(they shoot the p90's in all sorts of movies and tv shows) to make the these aswell. A definite master swager.

Yes Folks over there are GREAT -with Manleyjt help, I am now "Mashing Lead". Next I have to build a set of Dies and Punchs for this little press.

He is selling die sets for doing this stuff on a regular press. Prices aren't that bad...

I've started working on a set of dies for making 6mm bullets out of .22LR and .22 WMR cases. Its a lot of fun because you can make all kinds of odd bullet types that you can't buy.

Doesn't 5.7 brass cost more than 308 bullets?
