Hi all,

i'm the kind of guy who tries not to buy "chinese".
Just out of curiousity, what are the "non-chinese" riflescopes available today?

Steiner...Leupold (each and every Leupold?)...Zeiss....My Burris was made in Tailand...Weaver...What else?

Let's make a list, just for fun!

Eric

Good for you, i had my head buried for too long, never realized how bad it was until some unfortunate events where my business was ripped off a significant amount of money,I do everything possible to avoid Chinese products now

Which price range are you looking at? None of the alpha glass scopes is made in China. Most are made in the North America and Europe. March is made in Japan

The bushnell elite scopes are made in Japan by LOW, same for Burris XTR II. I think that might be the case for some Nightforce optics as well

Weaver isn't making scopes anymore (or, having them made.) The Kaspa series were made in China. The Classic and above were made in Japan. I think the Classic series models are quite good value secondhand.

Not looking at any particular price range. And yes, it will be a short list...
Just trying to figure out what optics are not "Chinese".
It may sound ridiculous, but I've been trying not to buy ""chinese" for months now.
I'm not going to win. But it makes me feel good every time!

Thanks for any input anyway.

Eric

Have a look at Element Nexus, made in Japan

You can get them from Air Gun Source.

I have one on order that should arrive on Tuesday Jan 19th, then I'll have an idea if it matches the hype.
