It's not too hard. You need to remove a little wood from the sides with a dremel and from the opening at the bottom. You also need to
add wood into the channel that holds the M1 Carbine return piston. I did it in a few hours so it's not a difficult project. Getting theupper handguard to fit requires a scope rail turned backwards and cut short just long enough so it holds the rear of the handguard in place.
