making a plug?

Hey guys I want to take my Remington 1100 hunting. Trying to get out tomorrow on a last minute trip. Can I cut a piece of dowell and put it in front of my follower to restrict the gun to only accept two shells?

I can't see that being a problem. If you have some dummy rounds you could trim up the dowel until it is tweaked to only take two shells.

yes, it works quite well. Ive done on a couple shotuguns. I used 3/8 dowel.

I use the fat plastic coat hangers and cut a section of that....

i have used wooden dowel .also used delron and machined it to fit .

Back when god was just a kid (around my age) a wooden dowel was original equipment supplied straight from the remington factory, and every wingmaster had one.
