I notice that there seems to be an absence of .321” 170 grain flat points for the 32 Special.
I cast plain base .321” bullets, but consider them only suitable for smaller varments and plinking.
I am already set up for swaging .312” hunting bullets, so really only need a .321” draw die to finish from my next larger draw die. (.330”) Then I will need to buy a die to form the ogive. For flat points, I probably won’t even need a final point forming die.

So this is a relatively a cheap option in the world of swaging. <$1000…..

My question is there a lot of interest in bonded hunting bullets for the 32 Special?

I am just fishing right now, as I like spending my money on hunting trips etc. I don’t even own a 32 Special, but sell lots of my cast bullets to folks that do own 32s.

Thanks for listening to my rambles…

Why not these and run them through a Lee Sizer?

0.323 to 0.321 should be easier than swaging.

X Reload also has 0.321 listed in stock, 2 Hornady bullets and the Hornady 8mm bullets as well.

I wrote all that out before reading that you do not own a 32 but make bullets for people, ha ha, to heck with it, leave that stuff in.

Are the guys who buy your bullets for the 32 wanting jacketed? If you can justify the expense than it really opens the door. My uncle has a 32 Special that he promised me but I don't think he has ever shot it and it may never get to me, the twist is conducive to both BP and smokeless, very cool transition cartridge.

Yes to the .323 to .321. When I first started reloading, the gun shop I dealt with didn't have any .323 bullets so I used .321. I think I still have a few from that box from 45ish years ago.

Buy a mold for .32 Special

I did just that. Ordered from Arsenal Molds in the US. I plan to cast and powder coat, and maybe gas check some as well. I flattened the nose on some LEE .323 bullets for interim use in a .32WS.
