Hi guys,

Sorry if it is not the right section but I don't see somewhere better so here goes :

With the hysteria currently going I've been asked if I could make a presentation on firearms, which I want to keep apolitical, possibly showing my arsenal.
I do know I can bring non restrited but what of the restricted like my TP9 and my AR ?
Is it possible to get an ATT for a day for the purpose of giving a presentation ?

Thanks,
Ninja

Best bet would be to call your CFO and ask. Unless the presentation is happening at a range, gunsmith shop, or gunshow your special conditions on your RPAL will not cut it. When it comes to this always call and ask, and if possible get an email back with the answer so you have proof of who said what when. Good luck

Another alternative might be to speak to one of the local firearms training orgs, who should have a collection of deactivated pieces that they use in their courses. Bonus with that is that people get to handle them without you risking damage to your stuff.

Local gun clubs around here every year have presentations at the local mall and bring their restricted firearms. They just get permission from the CFO for the event and have to follow strict rules for displaying them.

An instructor still needs an ATT for his restricted guns. At least in the territories we do.
