were can I get the mako forend grip/bipod setup in canada ? I seen it on amazon funny enough but I'm skeptical cause I know there are restrictions as to what you can get out of the states, and also does any know if it is a good quality product ?

Your choice.

Choose one of the following:

1. Definitely buy it. A guy at the gun shop told me that it is exactly the same as the ones used by the Navy SEALS who killed Osama Bin Laden.

2. Avoid it like the plague. It is a cheap piece of tacticool junk.

Remember, only you can make the choice!

Don't misunderstand me. I didn't say not to buy it, I just gave you a summary of the two extremes you are likely to get, with the addition of a few photo's thrown in for good measure.

You might like it, and find it useful for what and how you shoot. I wouldn't personally buy one, but that is just my opinion. I would like to get some time with a Gripod? I have heard good and bad things about it, from people who have used it overseas on a two way range, and it is actually a issued piece of kit.

Your information is horribly incorrect Mark.

I can't disclose how I know this but, I know a guy who was actually there in the room when Osama got triple tapped ( that's right, triple tapped). He sent me a pic of the rifle used to send Osama for a dirt nap, and as you can see there is no room for a fore grip/bipod on this ubergun.

But, but, but...

That guy at the gun shop is usually so reliable with the info he tells me!

He was in the SAS. He got wounded by an RPG at the battle of Little Big Horn. I have seen the scar on his ass and everything!

By the way your rifle is way cool, do want. Is it restricted?

Regards.

Yeah I know the sales guy your talking about. A couple of years back whilst working undercover mall security in Dubai, he received a head injury thwarting an attack from insurgents at the food court. Sadly he now has a titanium plate in his head and occasionally when there is a solar flare, he suffers from memory loss. As for the rifle, it is restricted due to the fact that it can only shoot depleted uranium/ hollow point/ FMJ/ phosphorus tracer rounds. I do however have an almost identical rifle to this but because it's a 50BMG, it's non-restricted.

Swap?

Would you consider swapping it for one of these?

I bought it from a guy who told me he was a Spetznaz Operator, on my last trip to Moscow. He seemed legit.

It looks like it would be GTG for high speed, low drag ops. I also like that it would be handy for a CQB long range fight scenario, but how do you zero it?

I like it, I like it a lot... Let's do the trade.

It comes pre-zero'd from the factory. I can't read the manual, as it is all in Chinese. I asked the guy about that, and he just shrugged and said "Everything is made in China these days by good communist workers."

Anyway, he seems to be right, everything I have stuck it into, well, I can see it through both sights. Even the green laser is pointing right at the target.

You gotta see it to believe it, this thing is lethal. I even tested it on a bunch of stuck together phone books. Talk about penetration. It goes through more pages than a bonded JHP.

Regards.
