MAKO Forends......Any good?

Has anybody heard of Mako products before and what is the general consensus. I have a chance at a carbine forend for a good price, but I thought I'd do some research first.

Mako and FAB gear is low end cheaply made gear, it's either for airsoft rifles or 1 step above. Save your money and get a real rail system.
