Does anyone have experience with the MAMBAMAG 10 round magazines? I am doing a build based on a Remington 7600 synthetic stock and would like to know if anyone has experience with them?

Thanks for any help.

I have two and I find the cartridge nose often wants to dive in the mag causing a stoppage.

Just tried it and yes the bullet nose is too low. I will take it to the range and see if brute force will make it work but it's so low I don't think it will.

Did you come up with a solution for this to make the magazine function jaycee?

I just recieved my copy of Ontario Out of Doors. There is a write up about mags of more than 5 shots. Apparently legislation is coming to outlaw any long gun to pin all mags to 5. It relates to all bolt action and lever gun tubes. I would hold off buying expensive mags untill this is settled. I hate when good money is spent on something you really want only to have Trudeau Ban it

If you are able to state a bold "No" .... it would help if you can explain to us why ....

Because that's the way the current magazine laws work. If I have a magazine designed for a bolt action that holds 10 rounds and I find a semi rifle that will accept the magazine, that's just fine.

Here the article bob was mentioning. A rifle is a rifle is a rifle...... 5rds only.

More regulations to come
Asked for more about proposed magazine restrictions, Public Safety Canada spokesperson Magali Deussing said, “As part of its comprehensive strategy to keep communities safe from gun violence, and consistent with Minister Mendicino’s mandate letter, the government intends to bring forward regulations that will require the permanent alteration of large capacity magazines so that they can never hold more than five rounds, and prohibit the sale and transfer of magazines capable of holding more than the legal number of bullets.”

More information on these changes will be available later, Deussing said.

The gun haters have not learned a thing since some of the dumb gun laws that were passed in the 90's.... the 5 round "proposal" is just proof that they have no clue and don't care for facts and evidence based policy.

That is the one I was reading. Thanks for posting

I think this is well said. A gun hater will always be a gun hater and they will vote in that direction even though evidence and facts prove other wise

I understand that and that’s why I asked the question. Going off the model numbers I assumed that the 740 pre-dated the 760 and thus the magazine was originally designed for a semi. It appears that it’s actually the other way around and so designed for a manual action firearm.

Makes me wonder why no one was/is bringing in the Triple K 10rd mags. Or perhaps they’ve been available all along.

My understanding is the dual use potential combined with the fact that most people are satisfied with the stock mags and not looking for 10 rounds is why they are not a hot item.

The issue was with mags advertised or marked as 74/76, which means its now a mag designated for a semiauto, which means semi limits apply. Since Mambas are marked only 76, they are good to go in either.

No offence, but all this is only news in this forum, the mag issues have been known in all the other forums for a decade.
