Has anyone been getting ready? Or has seen any birds??

I'm just itchin to get out for chickens and can barely wait till the 21 st. Luckily I've got it off so I'll be out there bright and early. I go out quadding every weekend to the sandilands and agassiz forest. Lots of birds so it should be a good year.

Hmm...I have not been out hunting for anything yet this year, but I will definitely head out to the Sandilands and see if I can get some grouse. So there are lots of birds this year, too? I heard last year was a good year.

I got out once last year (Spruce Woods park) and got 1 grouse and saw 3 others that day. The 3 others did not offer any good shooting opportunities, though. It was my first time ever going, but it was fun!

I've been getting ready since last year LOL. I love getting out and walking the trails on a nice fall day.

I need to fine tune my .22 mag. I carry it because of all the coyotes in my area. Lots of Ruffs around here to get me ready for muzzleloader season.

we should get a CGN grouse hunt going for the opener, seems like we'd have enough people!!!!

I've been try to get a few guys together but no one wants to commit until the day before. I'm off for the opener, as well as every weekend so just let me know when you want to head out. I'll be out every chance I get.
