Manitoba Coyote hunting and regs

Is it correct that you must have a trappers licence to hunt coyotes here in Manitoba?

I'm not a farmer, but I'm wondering if an exception is made for them as its preservation of their livestock. Or are a lot of guys hunting coyotes without proper licences?? Whats the deal here for the sport hunter? If licence is required, any idea what it costs?

Yes you need a trappers lic. Only $5.00 may have to take a trappers course.

Yeah, it's cheap but you do have to take the course or challenge the test unless you've had a license at any time in the past. I got one last year and haven't had a license in about 15 years. No questions asked
Yes, I believe you're right in that lots of guys are hunting them without a trappers license and most farmers just follow the, Shoot, Shovel, Shut-up rule.
