Manitoba drug bust finds respectable milsurp collection and 3kg of "cannabis jam'

Buddy had a nice collection: 2x #4 LE (I think?) 2x SMLE, long Moisin, Moisin carbine, some kind of percussion-cap hunting rifle, an M14 and other things I don't recognize. Hope it all stays out of the smelter.
 
The Liberals are selling the decriminalization of Marijuana and infused products to the plebes as a tool to curb the illegal trade and regulate the high. They want the profits instead of it going to criminals. Even if the law was already in place the person charged had way to much on hand to be legal as he wasn't licensed to sell it by the province of Manitoba.

He took a chance, broke the law and for one reason or another got caught doing it.

IMHO, the police will NOT tolerate the illegal sale of the product if they have reason to believe the seller isn't licensed or there is enough to exceed the legal limits.

still would be charged after Oct17 the government doesn't like competition, its not legalized its decriminalized.

Im just hoping they increase our weekly chocolate ration to 20 grams
 
I wonder if the RCMP will auction off the firearms. Some pretty nice pieces there. Would be a shame to run them through the smelter
 
Show me evidence Canada will Decriminalize Marijuana ???

Its being "legalized" which in turn just means controlled, if it was decriminalized you would be able to grow more than just 4 plants.

4 plants, legal law abiding canabis grower

5 plants, criminal that will get charged to the full extent of the law.

Nothing gets auctioned. Either destroyed or returned (or occasionally returned to a third party to facilitate sale by the owner.)
 
I hope this "possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose" isn't merely having a milsurp collection. This guy doesn't seem like much of a criminal. Its too bad.
