anyone have an idea what it'll be like this fall? last year it was said numbers where low because of two much rain, but that definatly won't be a problem this year...

I was thinking the same thing myself. The spring wasn't very rainy at all, so chick mortality should be low.

Very few grouse drumming in the Whiteshell this past spring. This fall sure cant be any worse than last fall though.

The dry spring should = some sharptails in the Deloraine area this fall. At least I hope so as that is where I am going.

I'ld be interested in hearing the outlook for the Brandon/Shilo area for both ruffed grouse and sharp-tailed grouse....
