The Manitoba Provincial Rifle Association is hosting an Open House and introduction to long range shooting at

St. Charles Rifle Range, Winnipeg, Manitoba

On Sunday June 6, 2010 at 0900h

St. Charles Range is located on Saskatchewan Avenue West, west of the Perimeter highway and north of the Assiniboia Downs horse race track

Come out, see what long range prone shooting is all about. Find out how well your rifle will perform at 300 metres.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own rifle and ammunition (minimum 40 rounds). A rest and/or bipod, rear sandbag and shooting mat are recommended but not required. Loaners will be available.

MPRA members will be on hand to assist and coach new shooters.

Try out a Target rifle (a single shot rifle with iron sights shot from the prone position unsupported with the aid of a sling) or an F-class rifle (a scoped rifle shot from the prone position off a rest or bipod and rear bag)

Bring your own lunch.

For further information contact Leo Poulin at (204) 832-3844 or jleo@shaw.ca

Advance registration preferred but walk ups welcome.

Hawk37.

I think you and I have talked on the phone. You most are welcome to bring your 300 ultra out to the open house. As I said before, it's more gun than is necessary for F class but if you want to shoot it we'll find you a place on the line and a target.
