Ok, guys, where do you take your stuff and why??
Where will you not go back to and why??

I will not go back to miller's meats, nor will I take anything to transcona meat, when I call to ask a question, and some guy can't put me on hold, and leaves the phone on the desk and say's " I don't have time for this F^*( sh*),And then comes back to the phone even madder, Like hey bud, you don't want my money, fine. You don't want me to buy some other tastey goodies in you store fine.

So who has the best rep in town????

I hope everyone doesn't find out about Jarvis Meats in Gladstone, cuz it may take longer to get mine done.
I have been taking mine there for over 20 years and never a complaint. The drive from Carberry and now,Brandon, gives me time to look for coyotes.:D

That's a lot of coyotes for us WPG guys....better take 2 boxes of shells. :)

Closer to town... I know a great guy in Petersfield for salami & smokies, guy in Wpg for chunky venison/ham garlic sausage, also a diff guy in Wpg for peps.

Pm for names & phone #'s. (no point in telling the whole world ;) )

Ive been taking mine to Strikers deli And Meats on Burrows Ave.Been going there for about 8 years now.
Just got back a load of Garlic Sausage & Breakfast Sausage.:D
Great product.

Been making our own for 20 years at least. Not too difficult as Canada Compound in Winnipeg has all the units and casings one needs to make super good garlic and breakfast. Some people I know use Millers but I dilike the "meat pools" these commercial guys use.

we started using R & M Meats in Narcisse, jus north of Inwood. good prices, good service an great products. had a bunch of elk pepperoni sticks n garlic done up this fall. Curtis is a great guy to deal with. plus it's handy to swing thru after hunting near poplarfield, chatfield or fisher branch if you are on yer way back to Winnipeg.

I've had Curtis make up garlic, and pepperettes for me as well. He did a great job, a few of my hunting buddies also get their sausage made there also, never had any complaints, but always lots of compliments.

Well, guys I got all our stuff back from this great dad and son shop on portage ave, It's called Portage Meat & Sausage Deli. I have to say 10 out 10 on service, and 15 out 10 on product, I am not kidding, This place is great, and they hunt as well, so they know what they are doing, no time restrictions, no this, no that, I had some special stuff done as well, I said I wanted this and bang it was done just right, The prices, wow!!! fair and honest and I mean, they knocked off about 150 off my last years bill and I got more and way better stuff, The smell in the air in that place is just great, I could just stay there and look around, plus they have tons of goodies there, that you would like to have with your finished stuff. Guys if your in doubt, or like to try different places, which I have done over the years, I have now found my sausage home. I wonder if they are hiring?? When you see that smoker they got, it's like oh baby, I am in love. The biggest high 5 for this little place.
