Anyone heading out for friday?? Or has anyone seen many? I have not seen to many until this last weekend, saw two on our drive way to our land. I know there so be lots this year, and a couple of good frosts and they should be out every where. But darn there is alot of turkeys around, seen over twenty in one day, I must have seen over 40 all summer (drool)

I haven't heard any reports myself, but with the dry spring we had we should have a very good year. I can't make it out the Friday, but I'll be out on the weekend at some point.

Got to love it, 42 views, from manitoba and no wants to say where or if they seen birds, well here you go, guys tons north of lac du Bonnet on the gravel roads going east towards the cabins, secound hot spot should be sandilands, (big area you share I will share) and any where along hwy 308. Now about the turkeys, tons on my friends farm, about 15 mins from our land.

I've never been upland hunting before, but when hunting out near Sandilands I have only seen a few birds. This was during the deer rifle season, though. Maybe I'll try and head out there this year. Aaargh! Too much hunting, not enough time for it all! Oh well, as long as I do SOME hunting this yeat I'll be happy

All I can say is I haven't been out for grouse yet, seeing as the season hasn't opened. But I will report back.

I am heding out for moose and birds on friday...there are allot around...(birds)...when scouting for moose .. and also in nopaming (sp) park...the sandylands should be good this year with the weather the way it is..

The wife and I got our limit here NW Ont opening day( 5 each). we saw a total of 23 birds that day!

Didn't see a single fricken bird Sunday morning. In a place where there used to be dozens.

Saw two, shot one. Spent about 4 hours beating bush. Was not a good as I expected, but Sunday was a pretty hot and sunny day.
