Manitoulin 2022 deer hunt dates

Just because I have to have my holidays in now , it looks like the rifle hunt starts on the 3rd Monday (21) ? Is that correct? does that put the Muzzleloader start date Dec 5th? Thanks kindly,

The rifle hunt always opens on the third Monday in November. The late archery/muzzleloader season was traditionally the first Monday in December, BUT they changed that in 2021 and opened the late season a week earlier... I do not know why, and it caught me off guard last fall... the first Monday in December 2021 was the 6th, the first Monday for 2022 is the 5th... so I have no idea if they deemed that too late to start the hunt, if so, is the 5th too late??? Who knows, you will have to wait for the news release for 2022 hunting dates.

While the official release of the hunting regulations come out every April, they do have tentative dates for 2022 seasons posted online.

2022 Tentaive dates... 43A/43B Bow/Muzzleloader; Dec.5 - Dec. 11, 2022.

I think that date is solid, because if it was the week before it would be immediately following the rifle season.
