Hello,

I am building a long range light hunting rifle. I currently have the CADEX R7 action in .300PRC and an IBI 22" Carbon barrel.

I am looking for a rifle stock to complete the build. Looking for something on the lighter side with cheek riser adjustment being a must and if possible length of pull as well. I have been looking online but can't seem to find any Manners stock with this descrption in the r700 LA footprint available in Canada.

If anybody can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I know it's possible to order them through a few dealers but the lead time is quite long. I need the stock by end of this month.

I am also open to any other brand that's similar to Manners if anybody has any other sugestions that are easier to get.

Cheers!

Nik

Manners and most of the other higher end stocks aren’t something that most dealers will keep a significant inventory of.. when you’re paying 2k for stock, most customers will want it built it exactly to their specs.

That being said, have you tried Bighorn Sales, Go Big Tactical, Insite Arms etc? They all have inventory that may not necessarily be listed on their website.

MDT just released their light weight hunting stock have you seen that?

Edit: I think go big tactical has a couple manners and AG composites in stock too if you need it ASAP. I'm not sure on what the footprint of that action is tho

Are you talking about the carbon HNT26?

For Manners, give Insite a call. The generally have a good stock of them. As to the MDT HNT26, that's a phenomenal options. I have a short action one and it's an awesome stock. Mine (integral arca rail and folder) weighs in at 1.83lbs. It feels great in hand and the folder makes for a very compact package.

I just picked up a Manners LRH from Go Big Tactical for a lightweight hunting rifle and I dont regret it. Really nice stock. I grabbed the only short action LRH he had in stock but he mentioned that he had one long action available at the time too.
