Good luck getting one here in Canada.
The Canadian importer is brutal to deal with. I was trying to buy two Steyr rifles over the last two years and have ended up buying others due to roadblocks thrown up by the importer.
They certainly don't appear interested in customer service or even retruning phone calls.
It would be a nice rifle though.

'Empty promises' come to mind when you mention trying to purchase Steyr rifles in Canada.
I had an SBS Prohunter in 300 win Mag and was very impressed with the gun. Since that, I have attempted to purchase Steyr rifles from the importer on two other occasions, both of which were disappointing experiences. On one occasion, I had a deposit placed on a new Steyr rifle for over a year before the supplier advised that they would not provide the rifle for the advertised price and quoted "availability" as the reason for the price jump.
They are nice rifles, but I honestly wouldn't waste my time and money on trying to get one anymore when there are so many other good custom and stock rifles available!
