Manurhin MR 73

I have two them right now one in 357 (10 3/4 barrel) and one in 38spl.

The build quality is nothing short of remarkable, accurate and an amazing trigger. They balance so nicely.

I own or have owned several target pistols and revolvers, including a custom S&W 14, Walther GSP, Pardini, etc... Without a doubt, the Manurhin is an excellent revovler. What do you want to the Manurhin to do? ISSF shooting, IPSC, Silohette, simple range use?

The downside is they are not cheap, but neither are S&W Performance Centre Revolvers. I think they run close to $2800+ new. I think a Walther GSP in 32 is likely mid $2000s as well.

Feel free to ask me any questions,

Brian

PS Trade EX is a Chapuis dealer (chapuis I think bought Manurhin).

I have a question.....where's the pics! :)

Hello all,

Brian is correct: Manurhin revolvers are now manufactured by Chapuis of France, and Trade Ex is able to bring them in. I've actually had one on order form Trade EX for several months now, although I haven't yet got my hands on it (or on any other MR-73 so far).

There is a man named Michael Zelany (no affiliation) who has offered extensive commentary regarding the MR-73. You may find it useful to Google for his review titled "french and german revolvers for sport and social work", and also to search his website. Beyond Zelany's commentary, I have been quite unsuccessful at locating comprehensive information regarding the MR-73 in English.

Good luck with it! If you happen upon additional resources, I'd be grateful if you might consider sharing them here.

Best regards,
Ryan

Pics - good idea. working on it.

If you're looking for a Manurhin let me know, I know someone who has two and may be looking to part with one (PM me).

There's a Manurhin in 22lr for sale in the EE (excellent price!) - I can't find it anymore. :( Suspect its been sold. Sorry Brian
