Many Sako P94s Finnfire Range owners out there? What do they go for?

This is a beautiful target rifle. I'm curious to know if there are many around and roughly what they sell for.
The rifle is on a very short list of firearms I want to own one day.

We'll I'm not up on current pricing , though mine was the first one into Canada some 20 years ago now and it cost close to $1400 at that time!
Most of the first ones into Canada had the threaded muzzled barrels as they were pulled from Finnish domestic lines, later guns did not have this as standard.
I know this, as Stoeger Canada would not bring one in without $800 of my money in the grubby pocket, as they thought no sane person would spend that type of cash on a mere 22.
I would guess they sell just below $2K in pristine condition today.

I picked one up out of the US this past year new in box. Purchase, exchange, IRUN GUNS, and shipping was under $1800 if I remember correctly. But I lie to myself.

Seen a P94 HB sell for $999.99 not long ago in a local store from a trade in, missed it tho.

Good luck in your search. They do come up often in the US. I found mine on gunbroker, called the store and negotiated. I dont there is quite the following for them in the US. Its the exchange the hinders the import.

Good luck in your search.

If you can find a P94S Range NIB in Canada shipped to your door for anything from $1500-1800 and you want one you best jump all over that! I went and looked at my bill it was $1289 + 15 percent sales tax at that time.
What I have learned in the two decades, is go buy a Anschutzs if you want to compete period! Don't get me wrong I love my Sako, vbut I've had to change the trigger, trigger gaurd, put a tuner on it, and am in the final stages of of finally changing the barrel to compete with the Anschutzs rifles in BR50. The best part of this rifle, is the ease of changing barrels, all Annie shooters are jelous of the stock on this rifle :)
I wish I bought a sporters or two though, but they were around $800 retail back then.
Still love my Range, and it will go to the grave with me as it is not an Anschutzs:)
Cheers, Dale

Forgot to mention I've had nothing but trouble with my 10 round magazines with rounds jaming (says alot for curved and rotary magazine for rimfires) though my 5 shot works perfectly?
Anyway, a good friend of mine made me a singleshot all aluminum 10 shot size singleshot magazine for my Range.vif anyone is interested, contact
JF Gunworks , just outside Thunder Bay Ontario.
James had done a bunch of custom work for my bench and long range guns over the last few years and quality and service are top notch! Great guy and CGN'er
